- The Network Engineer will be responsible for all technical functions related to the network of the Data Centre.
- Maintain, configure, and monitor security operations and Coordinate with the OEM/ SI and at the internal client location
- Knowledge of operating systems, network devices and security devices, and Networking protocols.
- Expertise to install, configure and support VMWare
- Knowledge of installation & configuration of L-2 & L3 switches, VLAN configuration, Knowledge of troubleshooting and management of network technologies
- Knowledge of configuration, operations, troubleshooting and resolution of network security appliances
- Experience in Cloud Services for Microsoft/ VMware/ Open-Source based Cloud Solutions is highly desirable- capable in (i) setting up of Cloud infrastructure with self-service-provisioning and monitoring services using various software/tools
- Setting up the Data protection mechanism (at local/remote site) replication etc. (ii)installation, configuration, Management and Monitoring of high availability solutions like clustering/load balancing of servers, Server Virtualization (iii) capable of setting up Cloud Service environment using Clustering over SAN/NAS Storage environment (iv)configuration of virtualization for hosting multiple VMs with HA environment and tuning and security hardening
- Operating systems – hands on knowledge of windows and linux
- Working knowledge of installation support and maintenance of managed switches, routers, wifi etc
- Installation of servers
- Creation of virtual environments
- Working of open stack would be an added advantage
- Bachelor’s /Masters’s degree in CS or equivalent CCNA R&S or CCNA Security (Mandatory) Minimum one certification from the given below is highly desirable (i) CEH (ii) COMPTIA Security or Server + (iii) VMWare Certified Professional (iv) MSCA or MSSE (v)RHCSA or RHCE (vi)ECSA or SSCP or CCSP
